NCE provided value engineering design and construction supervision for Bang Sue Grand Station (renamed to Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal), part of the SRT Red Line (Bang Sue–Rangsit) Project. This state-of-the-art terminal is Thailand’s new primary railway hub, replacing the historic Hua Lamphong Station. With over 270,000 sq. m. and 26 platforms, Bang Sue Grand Station serves as the largest station in South East Asia.

The Grand Station main structures feature precast segmental hollow box portal frames with external prestressing tendons— an innovative design applied for the first time in Thailand. This approach ensures both structural efficiency and rapid construction, supporting the terminal’s role as a modern, high-capacity transport hub.
